  • Your Mentality

Have you ever woken up in the morning and said to yourself, "I know that I can be successful at weight loss." or "I have what it takes to reach my goals?"  This is the way we should be thinking.  Our inner thoughts play a big part of the weight loss journey.  The mental part is just as important as the physical aspect...maybe even a little more!  Here is a key to being successful at weight loss...are you ready?...change the way you think :)  Goals can't be reached with negative thoughts.  People can't be as successful as they want to be with negative thoughts.  I've been there.  I used to say things like "I'm just never going to lose this weight."  "I gain weight so easily."  or...check this one out..."This is just too hard."  I had to change my thinking to make changes on the scale.
I also had to realize that my goals will not be met overnight.  I had to realize that change will happen, but not two days from now.  Training the body is a great, excellent thing to do...I'm all for it.  But to be a total success at weight loss, we also have to train our minds.  Start thinking positive :)

    Hello Jerome,
You made your site so simple yet elegant. The videos are a nice touch. I see that you are getting in shape!
I like to write articles about God and religion on my site. I want to help people to really get to know God and His plans for us, especially in these troubled times. Christ gave us an important message that is in the Bible: 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will. (John 9:31) (NIV)
